Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Account: your email, optional name, and a password hash (we never store your actual password).
  • Scans: the photos you take of record labels, the text our systems read from them, and your scan history.
  • Collection data: the records, grades, prices, and notes you save to your crate and wantlist.
  • Discogs token: if you connect Discogs, we store your personal access token to look up releases and add records to your collection on your behalf. You can remove it any time in Settings.
  • Passkeys: if you enable Face ID / fingerprint sign-in, we store a public key. Your biometric data never leaves your device and is never sent to us.
  • Beta waitlist: the email and answers you submit on the signup form.

How we use it

Only to run the app: identify records from your photos, show pricing, sync with your Discogs collection, and email you about your account (password resets, your beta invite). We don't sell your data, run ads, or use tracking cookies — the only cookie is your sign-in session.

Services that process data for us

Scan photos are analyzed by Anthropic (Claude) and Google Cloud Vision to read the label. Release data comes from Discogs; price comparisons from eBay. The app is hosted on Vercel, photos are stored in Vercel Blob, and data lives in Turso. Each processes data only to provide these functions.

Your choices

You can edit or delete crate items, wantlist entries, and your Discogs token in the app. To delete your account and all associated data, or to request a copy of it, email luis@gromanager.com — we'll handle it within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way during the beta, we'll email account holders.
